Let me just tell you I am so excited to be a Camp Councilor at Camp Tecumseh. I am so excited to teach kids and be a role model for the campers. There are so many fun activities to do and I have so much learning to do at staff training before the campers come for the best week of their life. This will be my first summer job being a camp counselor. I know that the Lord will give me patient, wisdom, and energy. I am starting to pack for camp, which it is crazy that it is already here. I just remember when I got the call from Joel Sieplinga, director of Camp Tecumseh about how he wanted me to join the Camp Tecumseh Family and then I blinked and now I am about to leave for camp in 6 days CRAZY "time really just fly's by". I can't wait to be in Brookston, IN and smell the camp fires, hobo dinners, and the fresh scent of the woods and whatever is in store for this summer.I am starting to prayer for all the campers that will be coming and the camp counselor which some of the counselors are from the Southern part of the Hemisphere. I already got a glimpse of what the community will look like some of the camp counselors up at Ball State we had lunch and a "Hobo Dinner" and I got a letter in the mail a couple weeks ago from Jamie Mitchell which was just so encouraging. I will keep you posted on how my adventure is going at camp weekly or if I am busy bi weekly or maybe monthly. ALL CLEAR!!!
